SIR,

AS BY NOW YOU WOULD BE AWARE OF MY SITUATION BY GOINg THROYGH MY PESENTED RESUME.
THE PROBLEM I AM FACING HERE IS THAT I WANT TO APPLY FOR TRAINEE/JUNIOR DPO, OF WHICH I HAVE NO PAST EXPERIENCE.
NONE OF THE WEBSITES EVER DISPLAY ANY VACANCY FOR TRAINEE/JUNIOR DPO.
HOW TO GO ABOUT IT.

KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND INFORM ME ABOUT THE SAME.

Deepak,

Thanks for your letter. You have an excellent resume, so that's not the problem. Just because industry websites do not advertise the position you are seeking does not mean it does not exist. This is what I would do, if I were you:
1) Get a list of all the companies that use dp operations on their vessels or rigs and send them your resume. But before you send it (or post it on the website if that is the requirement) try and find out the name of a person in personnel and send it to them.
2) If you  don't hear anything, contact the person you made the connection with, ask if them if they had received your resume and ask them if they have any openings you might qualify for.
3) Do this every couple of weeks till you either get hired or get tired of trying.

Also to consider: Go the companies that have dp vessels and apply for any position (you are qualified for)  other than the dp trainee position. In other words, find a company you want to work for and get yourself hired by using the method stated above.

While this might sound a bit redundant, and no doubt it is, keep in mind there are tens of thousands of out of work people who are desperately trying to get hired offshore, in any position.

YOU just have to be persistent and keep after it till you get hired.

Hope this helps!

Cheers
