I haven’t filled out a resume’ in 10 years so mine looked a little rough. Cpt Ron’s staff made my resume’ look like a million dollars. I have to say that a well written resume’ and a great cover letter go a long way.

Mike, thanks for the great letter. Because the economy is what it is, there are people hurting for jobs like never before. Many of them look to the offshore industry as salvation for their present circumstances . This super over load of candidates has overwhelmed recruiters to the max.

It is a bad situation, but like most bad situations, it is not forever. Our advice is the same as it has always been. “Keep trying”. People ask me all the time “how long des it take?” as if I have some magical crystal ball and can look into the future and come up with that answer. HA!

I do know this, and it is absolutely, positively and 100% correct. No matter what it is, whether it is trying to get a job offshore or climb Mt. Everest or trying to change the oil in your car, if you quit , you never will succeed. And you can take that to the bank of wisdom and make a deposit.

Like most people, we work hard at our jobs of providing the best tools available for and offshore job search. We are not perfect and if you find a perfect site please let us know so we can tell everyone else.
